Toke, what do you do?
I’m the co-founder and owner of Servisto ApS. Started in 2014, Servisto aim to make digital Out-Of-Home media more accessible for smaller companies. We produce and rent out mobile digital LED screens to companies around Denmark. For a flat monthly fee, we do all the practical work – the companies just need to be ready with a message to send out and we’ll take care of the rest.
What is your background?
I’m studying Business Development Engineering at Aarhus University. I’m the co-founder at Servisto ApS and Pihl & Pihl ApS. I’ve also worked with students from secondary school up to the University, teaching project management and entrepreneurship.
Your favorite tools to help you with your work?
My number one is for sure Trello. Trello is a program to keep track on your work – whether being the big picture or even the smallest details. I use that for almost everything I do. Trello is a very simple program but with the use of power-ups (add-ons) you can use Trello for almost everything.
Google Docs is an incredible online office suite offering Google Docs, Sheets, Slides etc. Even though they don’t offer as many functions as the Microsoft Office, their online platform works fantastic! Their tools make it VERY easy for more people to work together online. Today Microsoft also offer online editing, but IMO no other program works as good as Google Docs.
Being relatively new to Slack I find it fascinating how much it offers. Slack is a communication tool for teams and companies where you can chat, share files and keep track of your discussions because you can use multiple channels.
Useful if you work with signage, as I do. Even though their layout isn’t the most sexy on the market you would be amazed about how many cool functions they offer. I use them quite a lot at my company, Servisto.
Your favorite tools on a personal level?
Banking – but not banking. Revolut is a new type of banking combining banking and cool functionalities. You get a MasterCard and control everything right from the phone (not just mobile banking). There are also a lot of cool security features making it easier to stay safe when abroad.
I didn’t use it that much – but it’s really helpful! Scan documents right from the phone and make it look like they WERE scanned.
Q&A with great answers! Get in depth feedback on very interesting topics and learn a lot from smart folks. Get moved, fascinated and amazed!
Your absolute favorite tool in one sentence?
I use it for EVERYTHING!
